I recently got a new medium format film camera, the Contax 645! After almost ten years of not shooting film, I was so excited to experiment and have some fun with my new camera, so I headed to Point Reyes to do a style shoot with some friends. With breathtaking views of the Northern California Coast, rustic boats washed up and forgotten amongst the dunes, and a picturesque white barn, this location is the perfect place for a bridal portrait shoot or an engagement photo session. My model was so gorgeous standing on the shore of the Pacific Ocean, I couldn’t stop taking pictures! Thank you so much to Christina for her amazing hair and makeup work by Makeup By Quis, and thanks to Mints and Honey for the luscious bouquet. I can’t wait for the next time I get to shoot with my medium format camera!
We Were Featured on Glamour and Grace | Kelly and Eric
We were so excited to see Kelly and Eric's wedding featured on the beautiful vintage inspired wedding blog Glamour and Grace this week! Kelly and Eric had such a lovely wedding and we felt so honored to be a part of it! Here is a link to the full feature and here is a quote from Kelly about her wedding:
Growing up in Sonoma County, we always knew we would marry there. It felt right to have the wedding at home, and outdoors. Twin Hill Ranch was a local apple farm in Sebastopol where my husband once picked apples as a boy on a class field trip, and we were charmed by that memory. I had driven by it all my life too. It was a rustic active farm property with a barn, and so naturally it was a raw space to work with. Ironically, we were the last wedding that took place there before the farm sold and it permanently closed.
