San Francisco Engagement Photography Session | Megan & David

Megan and David wanted to make their engagement session one to remember! What better way to celebrate their love, than return back to where they had their first date? I met the two at Comstock in San Francisco, where they sipped drinks and cuddled up in the adorable, little bar. For our second location, we drove out to Land's End, one of the most gorgeous spots in San Francisco and where David happened to propose. There really is no beating the natural beauty of the ocean and the sun streaming through the cypress trees. We then headed to the Embarcadero, where the two both work and spend so much of their time. I love when a couple really makes a session their own by visiting places so close to their hearts.

Congratulations Megan and David! I cannot wait for the wedding day! 

San Francisco City Hall Wedding Photography | Violet & Romel

Every once in awhile, we have the pleasure of working with a couple that simply wants it all for their wedding day. From a grand ceremony at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Josephs in San Jose, to a decadent reception at San Francisco City Hall, the day was full of beauty, love, and plenty of dancing! 

Violet wore an incredible, couture gown, hand made in Israel. Her long train with all of it's intricate details, made the dress one of the most stunning I've ever seen! 

We arrived early to capture the gorgeous details Violet had arranged at City Hall, and couldn't stop shooting! The gold, pink, and white color scheme was breathtaking, and we loved their use of sequin linens, candles, and the delicate orchids. 

City Hall seemed to be the only building grand enough to host such an incredible event. A live band sang and played as we finished the fourteen hour wedding day by capturing all of the dancing and laughter the night could bring.

First Birthday & Cake Smash Baby Photography | Baby James

My job allows me to meet some incredible people and document some of the most intimate and special moment's of their lives. I was so lucky to have been able to meet Kate and Walker last year while photographing their maternity session in Tilden Park and even luckier to be welcomed back to document some of their baby's first moments. Baby James' second photoshoot will go down as one of my favorites of all time. Those big, brown eyes and cheeky smile melted my heart.

Now, a year after his birth, I was able to roll around in the grass with James while he celebrated his first birthday by digging his hands into his first birthday cake. Kate, Walker, and grandparents looked on with big smiles. It was a great way to get an active one year old to sit still for photos! Once James was done, his fur sister helped him clean up by eating her fair share of the cake, too. I just love this family! 

I have to mention what a supermom Kate it! She took care of all of the DIY details, including the cake, banner, giant one year old sign, and even built the rainbow rocker!
